Email #15: PPC Marketing (Part II)

Dear <firstname> ,

Some adwords experts say that your ad being second,
third and even fourth placed will generate more exposure
and end up costing you less for every visitor to your website.

The ads below the top ad in fact could get more clicks
thanks to your targeted keywords, which means you are getting
a high Click Through Rate (CTR).

For example, if 100 people search for affordable boxing gear,
and those 100 people see my ad within the Sponsored Listings
area, but only 10 of those people click on my ad, my click
through rate would be estimated at 10%.

The more focused and targeted your Google Adwords campaign
is, focusing exclusively on effective, high converting keywords
,the better your campaign will do in terms of how often its
featured, how many clicks you receive and how cost effective
your efforts really are.

Now, there is one thing to note that could affect your campaigns:

Let's say you create a campaign that only feature keywords which
are laser targeted and narrowed down to your products or services.
Even under this situation, there is a chance they will not always
experience a high CTR.

Why is this so? The reason is because some keywords will always
perform better than others, based on how effective they are in
capturing the attention of visitors seeking information relating to
your product, or in well written your advertisement is.

But worry not, over time you will discover which are the solid
gold keywords that hordes of people search for so simply use keyword
tools and keep testing,testing,testing!

To your massive targeted traffic,
